     Egyptian Mau Rescue Information: The Egyptian Mau is a distinctively spotted, short-haired cat. The Egyptian Mau is a very ancient breed dating back thousands of years. Egyptian Maus have a dog-like devotion to their masters. Maus love to run free outside. Egyptian Maus do not get along well with other pets, especially other cats.

    Egyptian Mau Trivia: The Egyptian Mau is the only fully domestic cat with natural spots. Egyptians once worshipped the Egyptian Mau. Egyptian Mau were mummified and buried upon death.
