    Egyptian Mau Rescue Information: The Egyptian Mau is a distinctively spotted, short-haired cat. The Egyptian Mau is a very ancient breed dating back thousands of years. Egyptian Maus have a dog-like devotion to their masters. Maus love to run free outside. Egyptian Maus do not get along well with other pets, especially other cats.

    Egyptian Mau Trivia: The Egyptian Mau is the only fully domestic cat with natural spots. Egyptian Mau were first brought to the U.S. by an exiled Russian princess. Egyptians once worshipped the Egyptian Mau. The Egyptian Mau are depicted in ancient hieroglyphs.
